BISZ Zrt. operates the Central Credit Information System (abbreviated as: CCIS), which replaced the former Inter-Bank Debtor and Credit Information System, better known as IBDCIS in compliance with the provisions of the Credit Institutions Act. CCIS is filled with data by the financial institutions (reference data supplier) and the data of the system are used by them in the credit rating process. The CCIS system operates in compliance with the provisions of the effective legal regulations, which define in detail the Reference Data Providers, the data which may be managed in the CCIS and the most important rules applicable to the use of the system. CCIS consists of two databases. One contains the records of corporate entities, and the other database manages the credit information of private individuals. The databases are described in detail on the following pages: corporate entities, natural persons.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Data Protection Act, natural persons and corporate entities have the right to inspect the data recorded of them and if they are inaccurate, then they request the data manager to correct them. Parties wishing to inspect the data of the database can exercise this right by completing a so-called customer inquiry, which is described in more detail on the following page.
