Welcome to the webpage of BISZ Zrt.
BISZ Central Credit Information PLC (BISZ Zrt.) was established to provide credit information to banks and financial institutions. As part of the credit information service, players in the Hungarian financial sector and enterprises engaged in commercial lending submit corporate and consumer credit data to a central system, allowing subsequent access to such information by any other financial institution and subscribing enterprise. The Central Credit Information System (KHR) aims to facilitate faster and safer lending. BISZ Zrt. has several years of practical experience in the recording of positive and negative credit information on businesses, and of repayment defaults and fraud related to consumers. BISZ Zrt. has obtained the required licences and permissions by the Hungarian Financial Supervisory Authority, and operates in compliance with applicable law. BISZ Zrt.’s recognition in business is a proof of the company’s compliance with all requirements for prudent, reliable and safe operations. The two pillars underpinning our service strategy are:
- full performance of the tasks resulting from statutory requirements in terms of the mandatory credit information sharing service;
- introduction of value-added services that meet the modern and dynamically changing needs of the domestic market.
18.02.2012: Consumer credit information system with full records launched
As provided for in Act CXXII of 2011, BISZ Zrt. has developed and put into production its Central Credit Information System with full consumer records. The new system is now ready to receive consumers’ positive credit data processed by credit institutions. When fully populated, the new system is expected to hold data on about 9 million retail loan agreements in addition to data on the 1.3 million business loans and 1.7 million defaulted retail loans already on record. Until recently, the KHR only registered consumers’ credit data when a customer acquired a payment default as specified by law, while it held no data on timely payers. From now, customers who prove their creditworthiness by being good payers have the opportunity to build their positive credit histories consciously. Other credit institutions may access a given consumer’s positive credit data only if the customer has consented to such access.

Customer notification
Recently a number of financial institutions have sent letters of notification to their customers about the launch of the full consumer credit information system and the criteria and fact of being registered in the system.
However, information on each agreement continues to be available from the financial institution with which you have entered into an agreement. Instead of calling our customer service, please call the customer service of your financial institution.
In their letter, some financial institutions may have included only the contact number of BISZ Zrt.’s customer service. In that case, please call the number published on your financial institution’s webpage for help.
